The second season of Foundation premieres July 14 on Apple TV+.
Apple TV+ has released a new trailer for the second season of sci-fi series Foundation, set to debut this summer. The second season is said to take place approximately a hundred years after the events of the first season.
The series, based on Isaac Asimov’s science fiction classic, stars Lee Pace, Jared Harris, Lou Lobel, Leah Harvey, Laura Breen, Cassian Bilton and Terrence Mann.
New faces in the second season include Isabella Laughland, Kulwinder Geer, Ella-Rae Smith, Holt McElhinney, Rachel House, Nimrat Kaur, Ben Daniels and Dimitri Leonidas. David S. Goyer continues as showrunner.
The second season of Foundation consists of ten episodes. Watch the new trailer here:

“Tensions run high across the galaxy in Foundation season two. As the clans unfold, a vengeful queen plots to destroy the Empire from within. Hari, Gaal, and Salvor discover a colony of psychic abilities that threatens to transform psychology itself. The Foundation has entered its religious phase, propagating the Church of Seldon in the Outer Reach and inciting another crisis: war with the Empire. Monumental adaptation of “Foundation” tells the stories of four key figures moves through space and time as they navigate deadly crises, loyalties and complex relationships that will ultimately determine the fate of humanity.
