A large number of people have gathered at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport to wait for Karija to return to Finland from Liverpool. There were hundreds of fans at 18:40.
Many people dressed up in green and sang Karija’s Cha Cha Cha song to make the atmosphere melodious.
Karija, or Jere Pohonen, is scheduled to arrive back in Finland on a scheduled flight around 18:35 on Sunday evening. Ilta-Sanomat momentarily follows the return of the hero.

The rapper came second in the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool. The competition was won by Sweden’s Lorraine by a vote of the professional judges.
This year, the Eurovision contestants were ranked in such a way that the influence of professional judges and the public vote was half and half.
Lauren got a total of 583 marks, Karija got 526. Karija got the biggest audience score, totaling 376 points. Lauren’s public score balance was 243.
Mother Heidi and children Elise and Ninny come to visit Karija. Heidi carries green formula sheets with her, which are similar in design to Karija’s. The sheets originally belonged to Heidi’s younger brother, but they are now inherited by Elise. Elise and Ninny plan to present the sheets to Karija.
