Sisu, directed by Jalmari Helander, had its theatrical premiere in North America in late April. Starting this week, Yankees can even watch a Nazi-bashing film from the comfort of their own home.
Sisu Films arrives in the USA for VOD distribution tomorrow, May 16th. For example, an advance sale is already underway on Amazon.
Unfortunately, the release pace in Finland is more leisurely: although Sisu premiered here in January, there’s no information yet on the film’s home theater release.
To date, Sisun has been viewed by over 160,000 viewers in Finland. According to Box Office Mojo, the film grossed $6.6 million in ticket sales in the North American market, grossing just under $10 million worldwide.
