Elle Fanning has starred in, among other things, the movie Neon Demon. Most recently, he has contributed to the satirical series The Great, published by HBO Max.
Elle Fanning, 25, has been acting literally her entire life. She also had her share of major appearances as Aurora in Disney’s Maleficent films, but has yet to appear in any major franchises.
However, in an interview with the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Fanning revealed that she once applied for a major franchise, but was rejected for a perhaps slightly unusual reason.
“I’m not going to tell you what movie it was, but I didn’t get a big role in one because — maybe it wasn’t the final reason, but that’s how it explained to me — I didn’t have enough on Instagram at the time. There were followers. I really don’t think getting the role should be based on that,” says Fanning.
However, he doesn’t say that he feels pressured to join Marvel or Star Wars.

At the moment, Fanning has 6.2 million followers on Instagram, which, of course, is very small if you compare it with Selena Gomez (416 million) or Jennifer Lopez (244 million).
Fanning stars in the excellent satire series The Great, published by HBO Max in Finland, whose third season was released last week.
