Inter didn’t spare a word for their local rival.
Inter Milan will face the men’s Champions League final for the first time since 2010.
A place in the final was secured when Inter beat their local rivals AC Milan 3–0 in the semi-finals. The second leg of the match ended on Tuesday with Inter winning 1-0 at home. Inter’s Lautaro Martinez scored the only goal of the match in the second half.
Inter has won the Champions League and its predecessor the European Cup three times. The club’s most recent first place in the Champions League dates from 2010.
In the final on June 10 in Istanbul, Inter will face either Manchester City or Real Madrid, who will meet in Manchester on Wednesday night. The first leg ended in a 1-1 draw.
