The Logitech G Cloud game console is now also available in Finland. Developed in collaboration with Tencent Games, the device is capable of high-performance gaming using wireless LAN.
With the lightweight, portable game console, you can play games by streaming games from the Xbox cloud service with an Xbox Game Pass subscription, or alternatively using cloud services that enable PC gaming, such as Nvidia GeForce Now or Shadow PC Service that brings your computer to the cloud.
The console can stream games from your own Xbox game console to the Xbox application or Steam service with the SteamLink function. Games can also be downloaded to the console from the Google Play Store. In addition, the game console is suitable for viewing video streams.
G Cloud features 1080p resolution touchscreen with 60Hz screen refresh and 16:9 aspect ratio. Battery life is promised to be 12 hours, and the game console weighs 463 grams.
The game console can also be customized as per the requirements of the user. For example, all physical buttons on a game console can be defined to act at specific points on its screen. In this case, the buttons simulate the operation of a touch screen in games where a traditional controller is not used. You can also adjust the sensitivity of the directional controls. In addition to these, the sensitivity of the triggers can be determined by setting the so-called dead zone.
“We are excited to be able to bring the Logitech G Cloud gaming console to Europe and to be able to collaborate with industry-leading partners,” said Ujesh Desai, CEO of Logitech G. “The Logitech G Cloud enables a new way to enjoy the joy of gaming with hundreds of different games. We hope to put game consoles in the hands of even more players.”
The Logitech G Cloud game console will be available immediately at a consumer price of €359. The game console’s European launch is celebrated with an opening offer that includes not only the game device but also a six-month subscription to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate game service, which enables cloud gaming. The offer also includes a one-month subscription to NVIDIA GeForce Now Priority and Shadow PC services. This offer is valid between 22nd May to 22nd June or till the products last.
