Hercule Poirot, the master detective evolved by Agatha Christie, comes again. Along with the upcoming film A Haunting in Venice, the mustachioed Belgian will also appear in the form of a video game.
The game, titled Agatha Christie – Murder on the Orient Express, brings the character to modern times, as the story takes place in 2023, as opposed to the original work.
As the product name suggests, the main patterns follow the events of the story “Idan Picajuna Iritus”, published in 1934. However, the game promises to bring the classic story “to life in a way that will surprise even the most devoted fans”.
The description on the product’s Steam page says, “Completely new elements have been added to the original story, so you can experience the mystery and excitement even more closely, as you solve one of Hercule Poirot’s most famous cases.” We do.”
In the title worked on by Microids Studio, you not only solve a murder, but also build a mind map and guide Poirot alongside an entirely new character, Joanna Locke. “In the role of private investigator Locke, you can follow another line of investigation in flashbacks that take place in the United States.”
Agatha Christie – Murder on the Orient Express is coming to PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch later this year.
