The development of the free-to-play battle royale vampire action is coming to an end.
Sharkmob has announced that it will end development of the studio’s battle royale game Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodhunt after just one year, according to the release.
According to the developers, the game never reached the critical mass of players it needed to be financially viable to support. Thus, they have had to make the difficult decision to abandon further development of the game.
However, this does not mean the final death of the game, but servers should be kept as long as the game has an active player base and community. To support this, an upcoming update to the game will also add something to collect, and the game’s marketplace is set to close on September 26.
Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodhunt was released in April 2022.
