Arnold Schwarzenegger thinks Last Action Hero is his most underrated film.
Arnold Schwarzenegger has given both hits and flops in his entire career. One of the flops was the action comedy Last Action Hero, released in 1993 and directed by John McTiernan, which had only $137 million in a ten-test worldwide box office.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Schwarzenegger himself considered Last Action Hero to be his most underrated film.
“He was killed before anyone could see it. It was a purely political attack because I was campaigning for George HW Bush at the time, but Bill Clinton won. Last Action Hero was fantastic – it Wasn’t great, but it was underrated. Now people have started watching it and I’m getting feedback that they love it,” says Schwarzenegger.
Last Action Hero is currently streaming on C More in Finland.
