Brendan O’Brien, the actor best known for his role as the original voice of Crash Bandicoot, has died at the age of 60. The obituary tells of his strong musicality and the beginning of his acting career at the age of 10.
According to the obituary, O’Brien was a positive person with a good sense of humor, so it was only natural that the crash years of 1996–2004 were a source of great pride for him. He is remembered as a kind and encouraging person to his fans, who were more than happy to sign autographs.

In addition to the legendary title character, O’Brien’s voice roles in the Crash Bandicoot series include Doctors Neo Cortex, Nitrous Brio, and N.J. Jin, Komodo Mo, Tiny Tiger, Papu Papu, Pinstripe Poteroo and Fake Crash. He also played several roles in films and television series during his lifetime.
