Creative Technology has released a 4K resolution Live! Cam Sync 4K webcam. It also has features that make shooting easier, such as backlight adjustment and a wide-angle lens with a 95-degree viewing angle.
The new webcam reaches wide 4K resolution, and is based on an eight-megapixel image sensor from the Sony IMX series. The maximum update speed is up to 40 frames per second. Live! The Cam Sync 4K camera is said to work on a plug-and-play principle.
Features also include a backlight compensation setting and a manual focus ring. In addition, the camera features an integrated lens hood for added privacy and a mounting bracket that gives users more flexibility in finding the best angle.
The camera also has two built-in microphones. The webcam is compatible with most videoconferencing platforms and popular streaming applications. Also included is the SmartComms Kit, available through the Creative app, which enables the VoiceDetect and NoiseClean-Out features, for example.
