The scary novelties of spring are arriving in home theaters early.
Scream VI, which premiered in late March, will be released as a digital retail version on May 30, SF Anytime says. It is not yet known whether the rental version will be released on the same day or will have to wait till June.
Apple TV, on the other hand, has announced that Evil Dead Rises, which premiered in April, will be available to rent on June 5th. It’s also unclear for this movie whether the rental and sales versions will be released at the same time, or whether the latest Evil Dead could wait for May to go on sale digitally.
