TV star and lifestyle guru Martha Stewart is the oldest cover model to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
Mega-popular lifestyle influencer Martha Stewart, 81, boldly sets an example for her followers by posing as a swimsuit model on the cover of Sports Illustrated magazine.
Known as a media mogul, businesswoman and influencer, among other things, Stewart broke records with her latest swimsuit photo as she became the oldest woman ever to be a Sports Illustrated cover model.
Steward resurrected her reputation as a sex symbol a few years back after posting a stunning pool pic to her Instagram account
Stewart started modeling as a teenager. At the age of 13, he appeared in TV and magazine advertisements.
Sports Illustrated says she was inspired to become a cover model now because she wanted to tell her followers that a woman can look beautiful and feel good regardless of age.
Age has no effect on whether a person is successful in life or not. Stewart told the magazine that it’s what we do, how we think or behave that’s important — not how old we are.
In his interview with The Guardian, Stewart says he wants to use his example to encourage others to boldly embark on new experiences.
– I hope this cover image inspires you to do new things, no matter what stage of life you are in, he encourages.
The alluring swimsuit photos were taken at a resort in the Dominican Republic, and the historical shots were shot by photographer Ruven Afanador.
