Assassins Creed NFTs are licensed by Ubisoft and do not associate with the game in any way.
Kotaku reports that an NFT based on the Assassin’s Creed game series has been announced. The NFTs sold by Integral Reality Labs are known as Smart Collectibles, and they include a physical decorative item as well as a digital collectible item.
As can be seen in the tweets below, the Smart collectible will come in the form of a small 3D printed plastic cube. There is also a separate application for the NFT materials themselves, within which you can somehow play with them, that is, complete achievements and even open loot boxes. More detailed information about the content of the application is not provided.
However, the NFTs themselves are not developed by Ubisoft and have no direct relation to any of the Assassin’s Creed games. Therefore Smart Collectibles buyers do not receive any content in AC Games or use their purchase in any way.
No release date or price has been revealed for the Assassin’s Creed Smart Collectibles figurines. From the tweets below, you can access a thread that explains more about how the collectibles works.
