Netflix’s attention-grabbing historical drama Queen Cleopatra is one of the streaming service’s worst-rated series, and Rotten Tomatoes says the same thing, where it couldn’t be much lower.
The story of Cleopatra by Jada Pinkett Smith caused a strong reaction from the audience. According to Forbes, an expert in the field commented that the situation was something he had not even anticipated.
The Netflix series Queen Cleopatra has also managed to anger the Egyptian government and many historians.
“This show has done something I didn’t think was possible. It’s not just the lowest viewership score in Netflix history, it’s essentially the lowest viewership score possible on Rotten Tomatoes, 1%. 10% No, 1%.”
“It doesn’t have many critic reviews, but they’re low too, with the show sitting at 13%. But those audience scores? I’ve never seen anything like it. Not with a bad show. With a politically controversial show.” No. Prone to review bombing. Never so bad, not in Netflix history. Honestly, I think not even in TV history, at least not with that many reviews (over a thousand).
