A sad news is coming from the world of gaming. Brendan O’Brien, the original voice actor of the popular Crash Bandicoot game, has died at the age of 60.
O’Brien died less than two months ago on March 23, according to the Legacy.com memorial site. Information about his death began to spread to the general public, however, only now. The cause of his death has not been made public.
Crash Games’ official social media channels also mourned O’Brien’s passing. He was the first to lend his voice to the orange title character of Naughty Dog’s hit games, as well as characters such as Neo Cortex and Tiny Tiger.

Crash Bandicoot has been enthralling the game catalog of PlayStation since 1996 and nowadays on other platforms as well. The latest addition to the series, Crash Team Rumble, is hitting the market next month on Midsummer’s Eve.
