According to Nintendo, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is now the fastest-selling Zelda game in history and the fastest-selling Nintendo game, at least in Europe and the United States. At the same time, the latest Zelda has already become the second best-selling Zelda game of all time behind Breath of the Wild, with a total of over 30 million copies sold.
Although the pace of sales has been staggering, it is still not a record for the entire gaming industry. Grand Theft Auto V sold 16.5 million copies in its first three days.
