Jobs were significantly reduced in southern Finland, Helsinki and to a lesser extent in Uusimaa.
Statistics Finland says that the number of open jobs has decreased compared to a year ago.
There were 80,800 open jobs in the first quarter of this year, compared to 91,600 a year earlier. The data describes the situation on the first day of March.
In Helsinki and the Uusimaa region, the number of jobs decreased slightly in the first quarter. On the other hand, vacancies in other parts of southern Finland have decreased significantly.
