The first trailer and poster for The Creator, the sci-fi film from Gareth Edwards, best known as the director of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, has been released. The 20th Century Studios film, previously known as True Love, was heavily conceived by the studio as a romantic comedy.
John David Washington, best known from the movie Tenet, plays the lead role in the sci-fi film. Gemma Chan, Ralph Ineson, Allison Janney and Ken Watanabe also star.
Creator tells the story of the relationship between a father and his android daughter, played by Washington, in a world where humans are at war with artificial intelligence.
The Creator will hit the theaters on September 29.
