NetherRealm Studios has announced a sequel to its Mortal Kombat simulation series, as it’s teased several times this week.
Mortal Kombat 1 restarts the familiar universe, mixing things up with, for example, new versions of old familiar characters. The cinematic story mode brings surprising twists and turns in the interactions between the old characters while going through the backstories of the mythological characters. On the other hand, cameo fighters bring more depth and tactical possibilities to Rustle.
Mortal Kombat 1 will be released in three different editions (Standard, Premium, Collector’s), with pre-orders starting on May 11. Pre-orders are also available for the beta test scheduled for August.
Mortal Kombat Releases September 19th for PC (Steam, Epic Games), Switch, Xbox Series S | x and will be released for PlayStation 5.
