Puzzle game series Mortal Kombat gets a sequel.
As expected, Netherrealm Games has today revealed the next installment of Blood-soaked Rope. As per previous leaks, there will be a sequel that will turn back the clock.
The title of the twelfth Mortal Kombat main series game is Mortal Kombat 1, as indicated by the rumors. The game is said to introduce a reborn Mortal Kombat universe created by the fire god Liu Kang. The game is said to feature new versions of well-known Mortal Kombat characters.
The game is said to feature a cinematic story mode that takes new angles on the familiar racing partnership. The story features familiar characters such as Liu Kang, Scorpion, Sub Zero, Raiden, Kung Lao, Kitana, Mileena, Shang Tsung and Johnny Cage.
Mortal Kombat 1 will release on September 19 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Switch.
