The teaser trailer reveals that famous Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage will appear in Dead By Daylight in the upcoming update.
Cage becomes one of four survivors trying to escape the sadistic killer.
Cage will play himself, but there’s no word yet on what abilities the actor will have in the game, but more details will be released on July 5.

Dead by Daylight, which was released in 2016, has previously been updated to include several well-known characters from various horror franchises, such as Halloween’s Laurie Strode, Evil Dead’s Ash Williams, Resident Evil’s Leon S. Kennedy, and Stranger Things’ Nancy and Steve.
There have also been fictional killers such as Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers and Sadako from The Ring.
However, the addition of Dead By Daylight Cage marks the first time an actual human character has been added.

Dead by Daylight received mixed reviews upon release, however it was a commercial success and has since accumulated over 50 million players.
Blumhouse Productions and Atomic Monster Productions are currently developing a film adaptation of the game. It remains to be seen whether Nicolas Cage has anything to do with the upcoming film…
