Cha Cha Cha is now the most listened to song in Finnish in Spotify history.
The rapper’s song Cha Cha Cha has now broken a huge record.
This week, Suomen’s five-piece became the most-streamed Finnish song in Spotify history. At the time of writing, Cha Cha Cha has been listened to over 36 million times on the streaming service.
Helsingin Sanomat reported on Wednesday that the previous record was held by JVG’s Ikuinen vappu from 2020. It has been listened to over 31 million times.
However, upon reading this, the rapper’s neck stiffens even more. According to Spotify’s own statistics, Cha Cha Cha Yesterday was the 13th most-streamed song in the world on Wednesday.

Though Cha Cha Cha has broken one record, it still has a long way to go for another.
If, for example, Karija wants an award for the most listened-to Finnish song of all time on Spotify, there’s still a real mountain to climb. Still ahead is Darud, for example, whose famous Sandstorm has been listened to over 346 million times on the service.
Rasmus in the Shadows (159 million) and Almaz Chasing Highs (148 million) were also the most listened to. Up front, you can also find Lordi, the only five-time winner in Finland’s history, whose winning song Hard Rock Hallelujah has been listened to over 52 million times on the service.
Despite its incredible victory in the public vote, Karija is also second in the contest for the most listened to song by these wise men. Loreen’s winning song Tattoo has currently been listened to over 73 million times on Spotify.
