Released in 2019, Alita: Battle Angel was directed by Robert Rodriguez, written by James Cameron.
James Cameron and producer Jon Landau are reportedly looking to make a sequel to 2019 science-fiction adventure Alita: Battle Angel. However, according to World of Reel, Disney boss Bob Iger is unwilling to grant permission unless Cameron himself directs the sequel.
However, Cameron is busy with other projects, including the next two Avatar movies and Last Train to Hiroshima. However, he hasn’t completely ruled out the idea of directing Alita 2.
Alita: Battle Angel was once directed by Robert Rodriguez. Cameron served as one of the screenwriters and producers on the film.
Alita: Battle Angel is streaming on Disney+. In the Murpoket review, the film received two stars and stated, among other things, that:
