If you read between the lines, it’s quite possible that Take-Two Interactive has revealed that Grand Theft Auto 6 is coming next year. IGN reports that, according to a press release accompanying Take-Two’s financial report, the game company is looking forward to “fiscal year 2025 (which begins in April 2024).”
“Over the past several years, we have lined up a number of strong projects that we believe will lead the company to even greater success,” the release said. “In fiscal year 2025, we will usher in a new era by releasing groundbreaking games that will set new quality standards in our industry and enable 8 billion worth of subscriptions and over a billion in cash.”
As IGN estimates, the only game that can (at least primarily) earn such a result for Take-Two is Grand Theft Auto 6. Hence the financial year 2025 of the company starts in April 2024 and ends in March 2025. GTA V was released in September. GTA IV in 2013 and April 2008.
