According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Star Wars hotel Galactic Starcruiser will close next September after only a year and a half of operation. The ambitious experience hotel opened to guests in March 2022 near Orlando’s Disney World.
Two-day stays on the Galactic Starcruiser have been sold, with prices averaging $1,200 per day. In addition to accommodation, food, drink, an event and the opportunity to meet iconic Star Wars characters are offered for an astronomical sum.
The Galactic Starcruiser’s guests are happy with the hotel, but it goes without saying that O’Keelum has faced challenges finding a customer base, especially during the Corona era.
