The accident has created a stir among the local people.
A child under the age of 5 died last week after falling into a well on Kemonsaari in Vercinasse-Suomi.
Iltalehti was the first to report on the matter.
According to Ilta-Sanomi, the accident occurred in the yard of the children’s home in Rosendal near Björkboda, in Kemonsaari, a small town of 6,000 inhabitants.
A local source told Ilta-Sanoam that last week, on Wednesday, May 10, they saw a rescue helicopter in the area and heard that the child had fallen into a well. Several ambulances were also present in the area during the incident.
Another local tells Ilta-Sanom that the local people are deeply shocked by the accident.
South-Western Finland Police did not comment on the matter to Ilta-Sanom. The local vicar also declined to comment.
