The reason for this act has not been revealed in the police investigation.
The prosecutor is demanding that a 16-year-old boy be punished for a school stabbing that happened in the middle of the school day in Yeliviška in late March.
The prosecutor accused the boy of attempted murder.
The victim, also a boy, was a classmate of the perpetrator.
According to the prosecutor, the boy had planned the stabbing for months. According to the prosecutor, the boy was looking for information about the stabbing and his criminal responsibility.

The accused has admitted to the act but denied that it was premeditated. He was in the open at the time of the incident, the motive behind the incident was not clear.
The stabbing happened during the school day on March 28, 2023 at the Kasaniemi Middle School in Yiliwiska. The accused is in custody since the day of the incident.
The matter will come up for hearing on May 29 at the Oulu district court.
The Casaniemi School organizes teaching in grades 7-9. The school has over 400 students. The school is located near the center of Yiliviška.
