The Last of Us, the superhit series from the beginning of the year, is getting a new version of its soundtrack. The music for Serial Case, based on the Naughty Dog video game of the same name, will also soon be available on vinyl.
HBO, whose streaming service HBO Max airs the series, unveiled the vinyl this week. At the same time, the studio also announced that their pre-orders had opened. We aim to ship orders to buyers between August and September 2023.
The series’ soundtrack was composed by Gustavo Santaola, who composed the music for the original games together with David Fleming. The vinyl also included other music pieces heard in the series, for example, Depeche Mode, Pearl Jam, Jessica Mazin, daughter of series creator Craig Mazin, and actor Nick Offerman, who played Bill in the series.
You can order your own vinyl soundtrack from Amazon, the Mondo Shop, or the PlayStation Store. Discs cost between £40-42/$ depending on the store. Links to online shops can be found here.
