Blizzard has revealed more about Diablo 4’s scaling and replay mechanism.
A little more information has been received about Diablo 4 when the developers present the game ahead of its release this June.
This time the game’s scaling system is introduced, with the help of which all areas are kept at least at the level of the player. According to the developers, this is intended to maintain the importance of all areas to character development, allowing players to return to starting locations to gain experience.
However, some areas, such as the challenging fortress, are slightly higher than the player character’s level in order to provide greater challenge.
Players are also given the option of skipping the story campaign with the new characters once it has been completed. In this case, the characters are dropped directly into the open world without any restrictions, allowing them to gain experience and other valuable rewards by completing Whisper of the Dead challenges.
Diablo 4 will be released on June 6.
