Harrison Ford received the Golden Palm Special Award at the Cannes Film Festival for his life’s work.
Harrison Ford had a roller coaster ride last night. Prior to the world premiere of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny at the Cannes Film Festival, he was awarded an honorary Palme d’Or for his life’s work.
Ford, who gave the speech, was clearly moved by the honor.
After the film ended, the audience at the Grand Théâtre Lumière showed their appreciation by applauding for five minutes. The reception brought tears to Ford’s eyes. Several video clips of his reaction have already surfaced on the internet.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will premiere in Finland on June 28.
