A more detailed description reads as follows:
“Regarded as one of the greatest artists of all time, David Bowie has been a cultural icon for more than 50 years. Mooney’s Daydream is the first film about David Bowie backed by his estate. For the film, director Brett Morgan had access to a vast archive of material.
Told through an amazing variety of imagery, personal video footage, never-before-seen performances and David Bowie’s own music and words, Mooney’s Daydream invites viewers to immerse themselves in Bowie’s unique world.
In 2017, Bowie’s estate granted director Brett Morgan access to a collection of more than 5 million items, including rare drawings, recordings, recordings and diaries. Morgan worked for four years on material for a film. Finally, the film’s soundscape, animation and color palette were worked on over the next 18 months. The film’s sound team, which included Bowie’s longtime collaborator and friend, music producer Tony Visconti, and Oscar-winning sound mixer Paul Massey (Bohemian Rhapsody), brought Bowie’s original recordings into a cinema setting.
Throughout his career and across generations, Bowie taught that there is strength in difference. Moonage Daydreams is Bowie’s road map for survival in the 21st century; An invitation to celebrate his legacy and the effects that can still be seen.
Elisa Viihde Viaplay is the only monthly paid streaming service in Finland where Moonage Daydream can be found. Alternatively, the film can be purchased as a digital rental and sales edition.
