Despite her painful defeat, Karija has only nice things to say about the show’s winner, Lauren.
The biggest story of this year’s Eurovision was the duel for the win between Finland and Sweden, i.e. Karija and Lorraine.
In the end, Lauren wins with the judges’ vote, even though Karija actually received the historic audience vote. The relationship between Karija and Lorin appears to be surprisingly cordial, despite the competition between the two.
The rapper revealed in an interview with Expressen that Lauren even personally sent him a message after the results of the contest were out.
Lorraine sent me a message and congratulated me. When I saw the message, I thought, This woman is amazing. He won and sent such a message to the runner-up. Karija says I want to say thanks Loreen.
However, this hardly comes as a surprise to those who have followed Eurovision closely, as Karija and Lorraine were seen together several times during the contest in a hilarious mood.
– He is my friend and the best person. He has a big soul, Karija said.

In the same video, Karija revealed that Lauren was by no means the only significant other to congratulate. He says that he has also received a congratulatory letter from the President of the Republic, Sauli Niinisto.
The rapper himself says that he too was surprised by Niinisto’s greeting, but in a certain way, significant congratulations were in order. In many ways, the rapper and the song Cha Cha Cha have already made history.
The second position on the chart was the best ever for a Finnish-language song. At the same time, Cha Cha Cha became the most listened-to Finnish song in Spotify’s history this week, with several million hits in second place.
