Finnair’s latest change attracted a lot of attention to the low-cost airline.
Low-cost airline Ryanair decided to bully Finnish Finnair for its new baggage policy.
Finnair replaces the Economy Lite ticket on intra-European flights with a Superlite ticket, which includes only a small bag that can be carried under the seat. Women’s handbags in this ticket type should also fit inside this bag. The same goes for shopping at the airport.
In the future, when traveling on Finnair’s cheapest ticket in Europe, you will have to pay if you want a suitcase that goes on the hat rack with you. The maximum dimensions of the bags allowed are 40x30x15 cms.

The new practice resembles the practice of low-cost airlines. Ryanair, which belongs to that category, decided to take advantage of the development.
How the turn table was written on Ryanar’s account.
This statement is made famous by the American version of the Kontori series. It humorously refers to a change of roles. The actual English saying is “how the tables have turned”.
Ryanair is one of the airlines that has a similar baggage policy. However, Ryanair is known for its cheap plane tickets as compared to Finnair.
Also on Ryanair, the cheapest ticket type includes a small bag to be placed under the seat, but its maximum dimensions are 40x20x25 cm.
Helsingin Sanomat was the first to report on Ryanair’s tweet.
