Timo Vorensola’s new film project is called Killtown.
Killtown, the new film from Timo Vorensola, best known for the Iron Sky films, has been presented at the Cannes Film Festival, The Hollywood Reporter reports. Cultivating black humor, the thriller is about a small American town whose every resident is an ex-killer.
“The idea is that everyone is a killer, but in a different way — there are trained hitmen, ex-soldiers, serial killers, etc.,” Vorencsola tells THR.
Killtown is produced by Sean O’Kelly, with whom Timo Vorensola has already collaborated under the Iron Sky label, and written by Adam Marco-Nord (Jazzoo, Jazzoo – Party).
Filming will begin in Spain at the end of the year. There is no information about the actors yet.
Overall, Killtown looks more promising than last year’s Jeepers Creepers Reborn, which was hardly even the director’s wildest dream.
Not a single critic praised the Iron Sky director’s new film, which can now be seen live in Finland
