Killers of the Flower Moon, directed by Martin Scorsese, will have its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.
Apple TV+ has finally released the first teaser trailer for Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon, starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
The commercial introduces Ernest Burkhart, played by DiCaprio, and Mollie Kyle, played by Lily Gladstone. Clips also appear eg. Robert De Niro, who plays Ernest’s uncle William Hale.
Flower Moon’s 206 Minute Killers also stars Jesse Plemons, John Lithgow, Brendan Fraser, Cara Jade Myers, Jaane Collins, Jillian Dion and Tantu Cardinal. The film will be shown to the public for the first time tomorrow, May 20, at the Cannes Film Festival.
Killers of the Flower Moon will have a limited release in the US on October 6. Scorsese’s mega-budget film will release on October 20. The film alone has a production budget of around $200 million. It is based on the book Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI.
The film will also be released theatrically in Finland, after which it will be re-released on Apple TV+. The exact streaming premiere is not yet known.
