Two different versions of Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon film will be released on Netflix.
Zack Snyder’s first Rebel Moon sci-fi action film A Child of Fire will premiere on Netflix on December 22. Now, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Snyder is glowing about the director’s upcoming longer version. K12 and K16 versions of the film will be released.
“I wrote the script in my traditional style. It was sexy, violent, and crazy. I was willing to trim it down to suit a larger audience.”
Surprisingly, Netflix wanted Snyder to make a version for older audiences.
“I was satisfied. I’m also proud of the K12 version, but have mixed disappointments in the K16 version which was the starting point for the entire film.”
The rebellious Moon will continue into the spring. The second part of The Scargiver will be available on Netflix on April 19.
