At least 50 journalists have died so far in the fighting between Israel and Hamas.

According to the organization, Israel has told international media that it cannot guarantee the safety of journalists in the Gaza Strip during its operation.

At least 50 journalists and media persons have been killed so far in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas. This was reported by the press freedom organization Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), which published the names of the confirmed dead and information about the circumstances of their deaths on its website yesterday.

This number has increased by more than ten in more than a week. The clear majority of the dead, 45, are Palestinians, but they also include four Israelis and one Lebanese, according to CPJ. Additionally, more than ten have been injured, three journalists have gone missing and 18 have been arrested.

According to the organization, Israel has told international media that it cannot guarantee the safety of journalists in the Gaza Strip during its operation.
